Running Shoe Experience

I have always had something to do with running... shoes... and running shoes. For over a year I worked at a specialty running store named Runner's Corner in Orem, UT. Working the floor is one of my greatest talents. I became adept to instantly building a rapport with a customer so that getting them to buy 2 pairs was borderline easy. I learned to handle the day-to-day store operations like inventory, re-orders, running credit batches, and training other employees. I also got to know the product features of each shoe inside and out; relaying those product benefits to customers.

Knowledge and conviction without being overbearing is power in sales.

Recently I have also been working with Altra Running. It is a start up running shoe brand embracing the current "running natural" trend followed by some. I have done hours and hours of primary and secondary research regarding those that follow the trend and their response to Altra Shoes. Also, working as a pro bono brand management consultant for the Altra Crew these past few months has been mutually beneficial.
